SYMMES TOWNSHIP, Ohio (WKRC) - Two people were injured after a car ran into a local Starbucks Saturday morning. The incident happened at the Harper's Station Starbucks on Montgomery Road in Symmes Township around 11 a.m. The Hamilton County Sheriff's Office said 31-year-old Rahul Gautam was trying to park when he accidentally pressed the accelerator, causing his vehicle to jump the curb and onto the patio. Two women sitting on the patio were struck. The car then struck the building, causing extensive damage. The women, ages 52 and 46, were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Gautam was cited for failure to maintain reasonable control. The sheriff's office said neither drugs nor alcohol were factors in the crash.
