Tween Star Awards (A Tween Style Power Production)

Published on Oct. 5, 2014

Join us on October 19, 2014 for the Tween Star Awards and change a girl's outlook! Register now: www.tweenstarawards.com Did you know? 80% of 10-year old girls are afraid of being fat (1). And did you know that females first experience a decline in self-esteem at age 12 or 13, when most girls enter into puberty (2). The Tween Star Awards aims to honor tween and teen girls for their worth (not their physicality). We celebrate girls ages 10-17 who are demonstrating excellence in seven areas--entrepreneurship, character, innovation, philanthropy, school/sports, leadership and community. Tween Star Awards is powered by Tween Style Power, an organization that empowers girls with positive body image, healthy esteem and leadership tools. Shekina Moore, Ed.S., an award-winning girls advocate, is the Founder (www.shekinamooreETC.com). This is a Tween Style Power Production.
