Some people think that hip-hop is used as a tool for the empowerment of black people. But there are times when the beautiful art form is used for oppression. The song, "Coco" by OT Genesis, Conglomerate Records and Universal Music group is, in my opinion, the most racist hip-hop song in the country.
By glorifying illegal behavior among young black men, some of this corporate-sponsored music has become like a Pied Piper to the penitentiary for millions of young black males. It has many of us singing and dancing to the beat of our own genocide.
