Dry soil mixing is a ground improvement technique that improves the characteristics of soft, high moisture content clays, peats, and other weak soils, using dry cementitious binder. During mass mixing, the trackhoe arm raises, lowers and sweeps the horizontal axis mixing tool through the treatment zone, mixing the soil with the binder agent which is injected through a port near the mixing tool.
