"I GO CAMPING ON MONDAYS" SERIES PART 4: Tomo Nakayama of Grand Hallway plays "Raindrops" by the Wenatchee River in Leavenworth, Washington. Camera work by Chris Zasche. We spent the day bumming around Leavenworth, stopping at the Ye Ol' Hat Shop and Ye Ol' T-Shirt Shop, the gift store where they had a bumper sticker that read "Yes this is my truck. No I won't help you move", and the Music Box Store, where they had full-sized music boxes that use metal disks. According to the nice lady at the store, it's what people listened to before the advent of the player piano, the grammophone, the hi-fi, 8-track, CD player, i-pod, etc. We got asked a lot of questions, probably because we looked like hobos and smelled like camp fire and pickles. We shot some pool at a local saloon, and after several drinks we went down to the waterfront and recorded this song in the waning light of the magic hour...
