Effie Trinket Doll – The Hunger Games: Catching Fire – Barbie, Black Label Collection - Review Hello Tributes! I'm Jessica from ToyScoopers, and today I'm going to be reviewing this Effie Trinket doll by Mattel. The doll's part of the Hunger Games collection in Barbie's Pop Culture Black Label section. The packaging is neat and tidy and the doll is fastened tightly so it can't move around. Just like the Katniss doll, the box has a very nice Mockingjay on the back. Now let's open it up and have a closer look. So in the box you get your Effie doll, a doll stand which is kind of stupid because it goes up between her legs, and a certificate of authenticity. The doll has some moveable joints, but unlike the Katniss doll you can't move her wrist, elbows or knees, but you can move basically everything else. And her clothes can come of but I wouldn’t recommend it because they are very difficult to put back on. And her shoes and gloves come off as well. And now let’s put her up on her stand. First off the facial features look a lot like Effie and are really detailed. Her dress is almost exactly the same as the movie, just not quite as detailed. The fluffy scarf thing she wears is also the same as the film. Her high heels are also really accurate. There are a few loose threads but they can be easily trimmed. The doll is well built and I don't think it would break any time soon unless it's used as a toy, so I recommend just using it as a display. The price, which was $26 from Amazon is amazing and definitely worth it. On the ToyScoopers scale I give this a 7.5/10. On the box it says that it's meant for adult collectors, I'd say starting from age fifteen and up. That's it for this Effie Trinket doll! Remember to check back later for more Hunger games dolls. Goodbye for now, and don't touch the Mahogany. ===================================================== ToyScoopers Channel: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCl0dI0-_67yQauZqRPAxfsQ ====================================================== Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/ToyScoopers ====================================================== Twitter: https://twitter.com/ToyScoopers ====================================================== Background Music Information: Dance Monster - Kevin MacLeod (incompetech.com) Licensed under Creative Commons: By Attribution 3.0 http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/3.0/
