Amtrak Cascades Coastal Train Runs Vancouver To Seattle

Published on July 6, 2015

The Amtrak Cascades passenger train traveling between Vancouver British Columbia and Seattle Washington passes through some of the most beautiful coastal scenery anywhere. Southbound, just as the Amtrak Cascades train leaves the Bellingham Train station, passengers embark on a scenic journey along the Chuckanut Coast as their train winds along the water's edge. At one time Chuckanut drive was considered the most scenic road in Washington however with mature trees now blocking most of the views of Puget Sound and San Juan Islands, it makes a journey on the Amtrak Cascades even more special.
